Fish Pedicures |
Discovered by brothers, these black Garra Rufa Fish, naturally found in the Hot Springs near Kangal in Turkey are our ‘Finned Therapists’.
These fish survive on algae which in the wild would be provided on the rocks. They suck the rocks to obtain the nutrients and so when they are put in a pedicure bowl their instinct is to suck the feet removing excess hard skin!
Seated on a heated massage chair the UV filtered water, sterile and hygienic for both you and the fish will be drained in by the push of a button.
For psoriasis and eczema suffers this treatment is extremely beneficial as the fish saliva contains a unique healing protein called 'Enzyme Diathanol'. This will help improve skin regeneration. The British Association of Dermatologists also agree that the fish help topical medications to penetrate far deeper into the skin as well as leaving the texture silky smooth.
